Last week, @Mantle_Official launched their @aave incentive program, making it the top platform for leveraged investing using @ethena's sUSDe and @maplefinance's syrupUSDT. Here are a few key points: ► 100 million USDT is available for lending at a 2.7% interest rate. ► Ethena is actively involved in DeFi yield mining, with a scale of $1 billion, including PYUSD, RLUSD, and lending activities on multiple platforms, making it less susceptible to declining basis yields. ► sUSDe currently has an annual interest rate of 3.44%, implying a maximum net leverage of 10.1%. ► syrupUSDT currently has an annual interest rate of 4.5%, with approximately half of its underlying Total Value Locked (TVL) deployed in lending activities on DeFi platforms. ► The 4.5% interest rate equates to a net yield of 20.7% with 10x leverage, but market leverage is currently capped. Not to mention the USDC market, which offers a lending rate of 1.46%, but with only $8 million available, I wouldn't recommend using leverage due to its greater interest rate volatility. Finally, lenders can earn approximately 6% yield, which is currently the highest lending rate across all Aave instances. Note: Ambassador Mantle, Senior Aave Lender.

An unsolicited (long) late-night USDT0 story: One of the first blockchains I heard about from @USDT0_to was an L1 project. Let's call it X. My co-founder and I are both native DeFi developers, and at the time we had a close relationship with the X Foundation's operations team. Our mentors were skeptical. We genuinely believed in the team. X had received strong support from early DeFi builders and had just completed a rebranding and upgrade, which was significant in that cycle. In our eyes, X was the ideal launch partner. We used every connection we had, even getting some people within Tether who saw the potential in our project to advocate for us in Telegram chats with X's management. Ultimately, we had a conference call with X's leadership. This team had been working on launching USDT on their blockchain for nearly two years. We prepared for it for two days, as if it were the most important thing in the world. The conference call began. I started with what I still call my USDT0 pitch. Less than 90 seconds later, one of their management team members lay on the sofa with his webcam still on and started doing something else on his MacBook, clearly not listening to our value proposition. Two minutes later, he interrupted me, laughing and dismissing us. He told us they were one of the best L1 service providers in the world, that they already worked with other stablecoins, and had absolutely no interest in the product we were developing. He said our product would never gain market acceptance, and maintaining the status quo was fine. That was what they were really interested in. At the time, it was frustrating. In hindsight, it was a revelation. A few months later, we met with the @inkonchain/@krakenfx team. What we expected to be a difficult conversation turned out to be surprisingly smooth. We launched USDT0 there and started gaining market acceptance. Then, @arbitrum escalated. Tether delegated 1.8 billion USDT worth of contracts to us. Our TVL skyrocketed from around 100 million to over 2 billion, and the market suddenly understood our goals. After that, we continued our efforts. Berachain, Sei, Hyperliquid, Flare, Polygon, and others. Daily trading volume reached 10 to 15 million tokens and continued to grow. Most importantly, partners started using USDT0 because it solved real operational problems, not because of its hype, but because of its practicality. A few months later, I heard that X attempted to partner with a USDT0 clone. But this attempt ended in failure. Meanwhile, USDT0 continued to grow thanks to some emerging and exciting blockchains, such as Plasma, Mantle, Stable, Conflux, Morph, MegaETH, and others. Today, X is no longer what it once was. DeFi builders' attention has shifted elsewhere, and CT's attitude towards its leadership and communication has become more austere. Like most other governance tokens on the market, USDT0 faces significant challenges. Today, USDT0 transfers approximately 300 million USDT daily across 25 chains. It has become the de facto expansion strategy for Tether assets, with a total value locked (TVL) exceeding $4.4 billion. It is the world's fastest-growing cross-chain infrastructure. Sometimes, being ridiculed is the best thing that can happen to your project. If you are developing a truly useful product that can improve the status quo and solve real-world problems.

Whales can't participate in mining, but you can. There's only about $1.5 million in capacity left before the stablecoin cycle closes. This capacity is too small for whales to make large-scale investments, but it's just right for small portfolios. Here are the latest updates: Aave v3 is now available on Mantle. Mantle is currently heavily encouraging deposits of USDC and USDT on Aave, resulting in the deposit limit being reached → huge supply, but very little borrowing. Currently, USDC and USDT cannot be used as collateral, which may explain the low borrowing/cycle trading volume. However, syrupUSDT can be used as collateral (currently)! • Deposit syrupUSDT (approximately 4%) • Borrow USDC (<1.5%) • Use the spread for cycle trading The syrupUSDT market is also almost saturated. Note the word "almost". Currently, there is approximately $1.5 million available before the deposit limit is reached. SyrupUSDT currently offers yields exceeding 4%, while USDC borrowing costs are below 1.5%. This is a very attractive spread for blue-chip stocks, allowing for leveraged cyclical investing. Large players have already entered the market—only a handful of smaller investors have a chance to profit. If you have a portfolio of $10,000 to $100,000, now is the perfect time. If you missed the optimal entry point, continue to monitor the syrupUSDT market and look forward to re-entering in the future. This is how you should approach yield farming. Understand your advantages, and if you're considering a potential opportunity, ask yourself: • Why aren't yields diluted? • How likely is it that my yields will be diluted if I participate? • How long is the potential time before the farming conditions change? Understanding the answers to these questions will help you capitalize on market inefficiencies and fully leverage your position. Layer 2 Fee Structure: Who's Harvesting Value? @VitalikButerin recently questioned the trajectory of #L2, arguing that #Ethereum's goal of being rollup-centric is crumbling. Without specialization or achieving Stage 1 decentralization, L2 will become nothing more than a collection of generic copy-and-paste chains. As of 2026, only a handful of Layer 2 networks have generated substantial fees. A few networks capture the majority of on-chain revenue, while many others are still struggling to achieve sustainable utilization.
