According to CoinWorld, Helium founder Amir Haleem has announced his resignation as CEO of Nova Labs, following a sharp decline in the HNT token price over several years, which has now fallen by 96%. Haleem stated on social media that Mario Di Dio will succeed him as CEO, while he will become chairman. This leadership change comes at a time when the HNT token is under immense pressure; HNT fell another 15% on the day of Haleem's resignation. Nova Labs completed the sale of Helium Mobile on June 2, 2026, and Haleem's resignation was announced two days prior to the sale. Although Helium Mobile has become one of the project's more significant consumer products, the HNT token has not recovered since the sale, falling 30% in the past week and 46% in the past month.
